What to do in a Dental Emergency?

If a child loses a baby tooth, take them to a dentist or a doctor immediately. The tooth should never be put back in the mouth.

If a permanent tooth is knocked out it can be replaced within 30 minutes of being knocked out. Clean and store the tooth in milk, saliva from the tooth’s owner, or saline water. Do not attempt to scrub the tooth, as this will damage the roots. Seek attention or advice from a dentist or doctor immediately.

Use non-alcohol based chlorhexidine .2% mouth rinse to keep the area clean
