"Smoker's Droop - A Good Reason to Quit!"

GPs have been recommended to inform male patients who smoke about the high
risk of developing erectile dysfunction. The recommendation arose from US
research which found smoking raised the risk of impotence 26 times in men
with high blood pressure. Former smokers were 11 times more likely to
suffer erectile dysfunction than those who had never smoked, the study
found, and smoking accelerated hardening of the arteries which reduced blood
flow to the penis.
